SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2018 ISSUE
FEEDBACK
(Editor's note: We received numerous emails regarding the July/August SPOTLIGHT feature which showcased
the State of Delaware. I decided to devote this entire September/October FEEDBACK page with some of
your comments. Thank you for your kind words!)

My only previous experience with Delaware has been traveling through it on my way along interstate 95. After
seeing your July/August Spotlight on Delaware, I am more than tempted to stop off and explore the first state.
I had heard that the Delaware beaches were very nice, but your story shows that Delaware has much more to
offer. Being a songwriter, maybe Delaware will even inspire me to create something. Thank you!

Connie R.

The old joke about "Dela-where?" has been put to rest as far as I'm concerned after looking at the Spotlight
in the July/August issue. Nicely done!

I lived the first 12 years in Delaware, so I know firsthand how much the state has to offer. Thanks for
reminding me though! I'm looking forward to receiving the shirt that ordered from DelawareShirts.com.

Eric S.

I have a vivid memory of visiting Delaware when I was about 8 years old. My family was living in Maryland
at that time. We visited some of my mother's relatives in Dover. While there, we went to Cape Henlopen
State Park on a beautiful summer day. I recall playing on the sand with my younger brother and how
beautiful the blue sky was. Funny how you remember things after all these years! I'm planning on getting
one of your Cape Henlopen T-Shirts. Can't decide which one yet.

My wife and I have camped at Lums Pond State Park several times over the years. Lums Ponds is a
beautiful place. Your photographs of Delaware in the July/August issue of Artists Are Always Right are
wonderful! My wife is a talented amateur painter who is reluctant to share her views of nature. If I can
convince her to submit some of her work to your journal, maybe you will publish them?

Carl W.

(Editor's reply: By all means, encourage your wife to send a submission. Too many artists are shy
about sharing their artistic expressions. If any shy artists out there are listening, I encourage you to
share your artistry as well! Information on how to do so is on the SUBMISSIONS page.)

The Brandywine River and the state park that has its name are true jewels in the diamond state!

Julie J.

Your eloquent description comparing your artistic exploration of the nature of Delaware to what Henry
David Thoreau expressed in his Walden experience was very enlightening indeed! Every issue of
Artists Are Artists Right thus far has been enlightening. Keep up the good work!
